The Farm @ Carpenter Hills Koronadal
October 13, 2008
Have you been to The Farm at Carpenter HIlls in Koronadal? If you haven’t seen the place, you should go check it out.
It’s a resort located in Koronadal. If you’re coming from Gensan, it comes before you reach downtown area. It got its name from the barangay (carpener hills) it is located in.
The resort has lots of zen-inspired gardens. They used a lot of bamboo and wood in their structures. The place would be great for activities needing some peace and quiet. The plants and wood design would surely relax you.
I particularly like their res
taurant, Aviary Cafe. The menu is done far better than most menu I have seen in Gensan. The food is surprisingly priced reasonably and the presentation is impressive. I can imagine though that the place must be a little bit inconvenient to dine in at night because of mosquitoes and insects. (We were already pestered by mosquitoes at 10am.) The music could also be better.
Their convention hall was a stunning room good for around 200 with a cozy foyer and a wide side area that could serve as an extension of the convention hall.
The staff were also very courteous and accommodating. Too bad there was not any good way to welcome guests. If you don’t go to the front desk or bump into an employee, the place would seem unwelcoming. But all in all, it’s a very charming place.

Hello Mam, I’ve been there a couple of times but not overnight. You are indeed right about the mosquitos. One should bring Off Lotion when you plan to have dinner there. Its one of the places to go in Koronadal. If you like plants, trees and a peaceful place to spend your time. This one is a place to go.

gee thanks for all the nice comments about the farm.we are inspired by your nice feedback.mosquitoes? we fumigate the area every now and then. anyways, what do we expect in an al fresco resto in the middle of a mango orchard? mosquitoes and more. kidding aside, we give complimentary insect repellent lotion if guests request for it. friends, watch out for the opening of new additions to our facilities at the farm: 1) our coffee shop (enclosed, read:airconditioned) 2) our japanese courtyard hotel right in front of our jap villas which is to set new and better hotel standards in the city, and 3) our butterfly garden which should be far better than those existing around. plenty of reasons for you to visit us. see you soon! God bless.

I was searching for a good place to celebrate my mom-in-law’s 80th birthday in April 2010, luckily I bumped into this site. I am not from South Cotabato but my husband is and we are planning for a surprise party for my mother-in-law on her 80th bday in April. I am just wondering how far is this place from Marbel center? We are planning for a party of 50 – 60 pax, a themed-one suited for a healthy and strong 80 year old i.e. ballroom or luaua, whichever will keep the oldies happy. Please give me an idea of the place, plus the food you serve, party package inclusive of sound system, decors, and whatever you can offer so we can make a choice. If you have suggestions, that is most welcome. We are arricing in MArbel 3 days beofre the event, so most of the plans will be organized by meself with the aid of my sister- in-law who will physically visit the place once I get a repky from you. Thank you and I await your early response. Best regards.
